BAYPORT, Minn. – Andersen Corporation and Yale Home are collaborating yet again to debut an expanded line of the Yale Assure Lock for Andersen Patio Doors, bringing keyless convenience to Andersen® patio doors and entranceways

Available for Andersen E-Series and A-Series patio doors, including entry doors and folding doors, the expanded security options are available in three smart lock options, designed for each homeowner’s preferred use and smart home set-up.

  1. Touchscreen, allowing for key-free access via touchscreen code entry.
  2. Z-Wave, enabling compatibility with home automation, professional and self-monitoring smart home systems for advanced smart home features and remote access.
  3. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, providing homeowners with key-free locking/unlocking abilities through Wi-Fi connectivity via the included Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge and free Yale Access app. This version also integrates with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Apple HomeKit, among others.

The slim, sleek keyless lock is available in three finishes: satin nickel, black, and white to match the preferred style and hardware finish.

“Homeowners want smart home technology for their doors to complement their already connected homes,” said Melissa Meyers, Andersen Windows product manager. “The Yale Assure Lock for Andersen Patio Doors provides peace of mind with key-free convenience to remotely lock and unlock their Andersen patio or entry doors.”

When combined with the Yale Access app, homeowners can send digital keys to others, control when each digital key holder has access, view recent access history, and permanently revoke a digital key at any time.

“Through our partnership with Yale, this industry-leading, exclusive electronic lock gives homeowners the fully integrated home automation system they desire with increased safety, security and ease of managing their home,” Meyers added.

Available July 7, the smart lock options can be ordered through certified Andersen dealers. Learn more about Andersen® smart home solutions.
