The lock is compatible with most single-cylinder deadbolts so all it takes is a screwdriver and a few minutes to upgrade your door.

1. With the door open, extend the deadbolt, and press the Yale logo. Then press the Mode button under the battery cover on the interior side once. The status LED will turn steady green.
2. To create an entry code, enter a 4-8 digit code, then press the Yale logo.
3. Re-enter the code, then press the Yale logo. If the code matches the one from step 2, the status LED will flash and you will hear a long beep.

Yes, auto-lock will automatically lock the deadbolt after its been unlocked for 30 seconds.

Auto-Lock can be turned on or off via the far right toggle above the batteries. Move the toggle to the left to turn Auto-Lock on. Move the toggle to the right to turn Auto-Lock off.
