Yale and ADT Enter Nationwide Partnership
Yale, a leader in smart home security, has entered a new partnership with ADT, the trusted brand in smart home and small business security. As a start to this partnership, Yale Assure Lock 2 with Z-Wave has become the first smart lock to integrate with ADT's new Trusted Neighbor™ offering, a component of the innovative ADT+ security system.
As told by The Verge, Yale Assure Lock 2 with Z-Wave integrates with Trusted Neighbor in the ADT+ app, which allows ADT residential customers to disarm their security system and unlock the door using their smart lock based on custom time or event-based parameters, and automatically re-secure the home once the visitor leaves. Whether a friend needs to feed a pet or a neighbor brings in a package, this integration offers ADT users peace of mind and convenience by granting secure, temporary, and automated access via the ADT+ app powered by compatible Yale smart locks.
This collaboration marks the beginning of Yale’s partnership with ADT. While Assure Lock 2 with Z-Wave is the first smart lock to be compatible with Trusted Neighbor, additional Yale products will be available in the future, broadening choices for ADT residential customers nationwide.
