Assure locks are designed to fit both right-handed and left-handed doors and will electronically set the correct handing during the initial set-up process via Yale Access App. For instructions on how to change the handling of the lock, please refer here to the Programming/Operating Instructions.

Yes, the Assure Lock 2 can be re-keyed to match existing keys, providing “One-Key Convenience” with our Keyed Alike service.

The Assure Lock 2 can hold up to 250 entry codes within the Yale Access app.

Slide the battery cover up, pull the ribbon in the battery cover to pull out the 4 AA batteries and insert the 4 new AA Batteries. Reinstall the black cover by sliding it down.

If you purchased the Yale x Pantone Assure Lock 2 Limited Edition with Wi-Fi, you'll be able to control and manage your lock from anywhere using the Yale Access app from your iOS or Android device. You'll need the lock to be connected to a home 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

Our locks are tested to industry leading BHMA standards to provide lasting durability against everyday, attempted break-ins and weather protection from rain, sun, and extreme temperatures.
Outside Temperature Range:-30°C to 60°C or -22°F to 140°F
Inside Temperature Range:-15°C to 70°C or 5°F to 158°F

*The lock is not built to handle gates or applications where the interior of the lock is exposed to outdoor conditions all day or night.
